The French Country X Base Cottage Dining Table is a modern rustic option for relaxed dining spaces and perfect for not only your home, but your cottages, lodges, and lake houses. The table is available in legngths of 6 foot, 7 foot, and 8 foot.
The X Base Cottage Table is constructed of rough hewn pine: almost like an entire table being hand planed. The rough hewn pine gives the table an authentic rustic quality. The table base is stabilized through the use of a 1" black pipe that extends between the x base pedestals. Fastened with nuts, the table is ready for daily use in every type of setting.
The X Base Dining Table is available in your choice of stain color. We prefer stain due to the inherent qualities associated with rough hewn pine. Black paint is an available option for the table base as it covers the surface well, light paints do not provide as good coverage. Our line of stains includes a few "Aged Finish" stain options which will further enhance the rustic look of the rough pine.
The X Base Cottage Dining Table is designed with the x base pedestals set in 11" from each end. This allows you, or a guest, to comfortably sit at the table ends. The table is 36" deep and is 30" high.
The X Base Table, like all of our tables and furniture, is finished with two coats of poly and a wax top coat. This finish system is an easy-care system that requires only soap and water and a cloth for cleaning. The finished surface is protected against water rings.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
