The French Country X Base Cottage Bench is a stylish and rustic option for relaxed eating spaces and it's perfect for not only your home, but a cottage, lodge, or lake house. The bench is offered in legngths of 5-foot, 6-foot, 7-foot, and 8-foot.
The X Base Cottage Bench is built using a rough hewn pine: this is like the entire bench has a hand planed finish detail. The rough hewn pine provides the bench with an authenticly rustic quality. The bench base is strengthened through the use of a 1" black pipe that extends between the x base pedestal bases. Fastened with nuts, the bench is a great option for daily use in any type of setting.
The X Base Bench is offered in your choice of stain color. We think this is best in stain due to the vintage qualities associated with rough hewn pine. Black paint is an available option for the bench base as it covers the material well, light paints do not provide good coverage. Our line of stains includes a few "Aged Finish" stain options which will also enhance the rustic look of the rough pine.
The X Base Cottage Bench, like all of our furniture, is finished with two coats of poly varnish and finished with a wax top coat. This finish system is an easy care system that requires only soap, water, and a clean cloth. The finished surface is protected against water rings.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
