The beautiful round top with large turned onion base gives the table an elegance found in grand tables of the past. This large pedestal dining table is available in 72" round, 60" round and 54" round sizes. The pedestal base allows for unimpeded seating of 8 to 10 guests.
The classically French turned onion base is cut from a solid block of maple. The onion base sits on a squared-off, elevated platform with three tiers of molding. The solid wood top has an elegant knife cut edging and a generous bent wood apron which add to the table's provenance.
Few large, solid wood pedestal dining tables have the masterful finish and details as found on this round table. The large pedestal table will be the focal-point of any dining room, large kitchen, or a grand entrance foyer.
The Round Pedestal Dining Table has a 1 1/4" thick top and comes in a variety of top styles; "Stained Pine" new pine wood, "Vintage Wood" reclaimed barnwood tops, "Hand-Planed" new pine planed and distressed, and "Birch" solid hardwood.
The 72", 60", 54" round pedestal dining table can be finished in our classic French country two-tone finish (stained top with painted base), or stained and painted all-over one color.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and low VOC stains that are healthy for you and the environment.
All finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character. Our "Aged Finish" stains are achieved with multiple coats of stain followed by the application of a glaze. Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.

"Hand Planed" is a solid Pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.

"Vintage Pine" is made from reclaimed wood from old hunting cabins, buildings, and cottages. No two tops are alike, some are more rustic than others, they can be very distressed by their weather worn age. You should expect that some have divots and worming.

"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
