The Bow Back Windsor Chair has a barrel, bow back shape, and a solid moulded seat. The back is supported by 8 spindles that are turned and attach to the seat and bow rail. This design enhances the strength and durability of this dining chair. The material used is a mix of Maple and Ash, traditional woods used for their hardness. Legs are angled out, as is traditional in windsor chair styles.
The Bow Back Chair is available with a molded, contoured wood seat. The chair can be finished in an all-over stain or paint.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
