The country french china hutch will bring rustic, French style into a dining space. The solid wood china cupboard is built in two pieces with a buffet base and setback hutch top. The upper setback hutch fits into a groove in the buffet top to join the two pieces.
The upper hutch cabinet has two domed top glass doors, and open storage with three shelves. The three interior shelves adjust to hold standard size and large dishes and platters. The base of the upper cabinet has scrolled molding and a top with generous crown molding to add to its French gravitas.
The buffet base feature lots of useful closed storage. The cabinet has three, vertical deep wood drawers that are on wooden runners for ease of use. The lower cabinet has two raised panel side doors. The interior cabinets feature one centered (removable) shelf. The French china hutch is adorn with hand-forged metal ring pulls.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
We offer (3) styles of tops on all of our furniture: Stained Pine, Hand Planed, and Birch. Below are approximate examples of each wood style, along with an explanation of the characteristics of each. All tops are finished with two coats of varnish and a wax top sealer. The cleaning of the surface is an easy soap and water maintenance, there is no special routine required, this is an easy-care system.
"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.
"Hand Planed" is a solid pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.
"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
