This rocking chair has five slats on the back with graduated shapes to provide great comfort with this chair. Made of solid wood, the rocking chair has an "H" construction base to provide strength and durability. The seat is a snowshoe seat that is created by a mix of beeswax and leather. The seat is extremely durable, but also quite comfortable to sit in. Finished in the highest-quality milk paint or stain to give each chair a one-of-a-kind, antiqued appearance.
Constructed of solid Maple and Ash, the sturdy construction and joinery will stand up to a family's daily demands. The style of this rocking chair us French Country, but its simple lines will also work with other decorating styles, such as Farmhouse, Lakehouse, English Cottage, and Transitional.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
