The French Country Bench provides solid wood, European bench seating for adults and kids alike. The classic farmhouse bench can be used for additional seating at a dining table or anywhere space is a commodity. Slide the bench under the table for additional passage room or, have the bench run the entire length of the table to maximize your seating.
The 12" depth provides sturdy bench seating for guests. The comfortable 18" height is the standard height of a chair. The classic farm table bench provides sturdy, casual seating and pairs well with any of our square or rectangular dining tables. The country bench with a storage shelf is versatile piece for use as a mudroom bench, hallway bench, bathroom seating or as a narrow coffee table with storage.
The classic farmhouse bench features flat board legs with v-cut feet and a lower shelf for storage and stability. This bench is available in standard lengths of 48-inches (4ft.), 60-inches (5ft.), 72-inches (6ft.), and 84-inches (7ft.), but can be customized to any length of your choice.
The country benches are standardly painted in a classic two-tone French country finish. But, can be finished in one all-over stain or paint finish.
This French country bench complements French Country, English Cottage, Farmhouse, Rustic, Transitional and Traditional style decors.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
We offer (3) styles of tops on all of our furniture: Stained Pine, Hand Planed, and Birch. Below are approximate examples of each wood style, along with an explanation of the characteristics of each. All tops are finished with two coats of varnish and a wax top sealer. The cleaning of the surface is an easy soap and water maintenance, there is no special routine required, this is an easy-care system.
"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.
"Hand Planed" is a solid pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.
"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
