The Country French Ladderback Stool is a hallmark of country French interiors in the regions of Provence, Normandy and Bordeaux. It's beloved for its relaxed, French-style made popular in country cottages, farmhouses and chateaus throughout Europe. Today, our ladderback stool balances solid hardwood construction with a European-inspired style for your kitchen or bar area.
The Country French Ladderback Stool offers a comfortably contoured/scalloped ladderback paired with a wood or rush seat. The French stool has a generous 20" wide seat for comfortable seating. The back slightly slopes and gently contours for comfort and back support. The three scrolled ladder slat-back enhance the stools's country ladderback design.
The Ladderback is made of solid hardwood for enduring strength and durability. This is one of our "best seller" stools for its French design, comfort and timeless style. The stool is available in a 24" high seat for a kitchen counter stool.
This Country French Ladderback Stool is available with your choice of a molded "Wood" seat, or with a "Woven Rush" seat in a V-weave pattern. The stool can be finished in a two-tone paint/stain combination (chair back/seat), or an all-over paint or stain.
This Country French Ladderback Stool complements French Country, English Cottage, Farmhouse, Rustic, Transitional and Traditional style decors.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
