The Provence 2 Door Buffet adds old world charm, functional storage and serving space to your kitchen or dining space. The small sideboard offers two-drawers and doors for storage of everything from china and silverware to fine linens.
This classic European farmhouse buffet features two beveled paneled doors with a unique two panels per door design. The low console sideboard would be right at home in a chateaux or cottage with its classic French molding on the front and scrolled base.
The cabinet doors have a distinctive 2-panel design with a center rail. Inside the cupboard, is one centered shelf which spans the width of the cabinet. The buffet top is water-sealed to stand-up to daily use, and intended for food and beverage service. The edge of the top has an elegant knife-edge rounded detail.
This country buffet is a welcome addition in a kitchen or dining room, but would also make a great media console, or added storage in a home office. The 45" wide sideboard can be painted in a classic two-tone finish with a stained interior and top, with painted exterior, or all-over one color finish. The top is water-sealed for daily-use, and food and drink service.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
We offer (3) styles of tops on all of our furniture: Stained Pine, Hand Planed, and Birch. Below are approximate examples of each wood style, along with an explanation of the characteristics of each. All tops are finished with two coats of varnish and a wax top sealer. The cleaning of the surface is an easy soap and water maintenance, there is no special routine required, this is an easy-care system.
"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.
"Hand Planed" is a solid pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.
"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
