The French Country 38" Square Coffee Table is a unique and stylish coffee table to add to your french country living room or family room. The details on this coffee table include four bun feet, a raised molding on the table sides as well as the drawer face, and one wide drawer that slides through two sides. The coffee table top has a decorative ogee edge. The bun feet are turned from a 5" piece of hardwood.
The design of this 38 inch square coffee table would fit in any decorating style: french country, english cottage, farmhouse, or lake cabin. The coffee table is made of solid wood, there are no pressboards, MDF, or veneers in its construction. Make it the center of any relaxing room where it can succeed as an entertainment space, game playing space, or for puzzle making. The 38" Square Coffee Table can be finished in any paint or stain finish. You can choose to do an all-over stain or paint, or, a combination of stained top with a painted base. Make it your own to fit within your home decor, and add some flair to your french country stylings.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
We offer (3) styles of tops on all of our furniture: Stained Pine, Hand Planed, and Birch. Below are approximate examples of each wood style, along with an explanation of the characteristics of each. All tops are finished with two coats of varnish and a wax top sealer. The cleaning of the surface is an easy soap and water maintenance, there is no special routine required, this is an easy-care system.
"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.
"Hand Planed" is a solid pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.
"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
