Inspired by 19th-century French design, the French Provincial TV Stand is handcrafted of solid wood and delivers today’s functionality with an inspired historical design.
The French Provincial TV Stand has a regal presence in a living area with its fluted side columns, (4) lower bifold doors, raised panel sides and door moldings and elegant hand-forged iron pulls.
Create the ultimate media room with the 85"w large media console that can hold a large flat screen TV up to 85" wide. The flat screen TV sits at a comfort height of 32"h from the floor.
The low wide media console has a water-sealed top intended for daily use. The elegant, fluted columns continue to the floor with offset base moldings. There are (2) horizontal wood drawers all on full-extension tracks that glide with ease, and (6) vertical side drawers for storage of DVDs, music, games and remotes. The (4) center cabinet doors bifold allowing easy access to all your media components and game consoles. The interior has one centered shelf.
The low wide media console is made of solid wood, including the 5/8" tongue and groove backing. The 85" wide TV stand can be finished in any of our paint and/or stain options.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
We offer (3) styles of tops on all of our furniture: Stained Pine, Hand Planed, and Birch. Below are approximate examples of each wood style, along with an explanation of the characteristics of each. All tops are finished with two coats of varnish and a wax top sealer. The cleaning of the surface is an easy soap and water maintenance, there is no special routine required, this is an easy-care system.
"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.
"Hand Planed" is a solid pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.
"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
