The Bass Harbor Hall Table is a more modern variant on a traditional accent table used in a hall, entry, or family area. This hall table has four tapered legs, made from a 3" block of wood. The four drawers are evenly spaced and have a flat face detail to enhance the modernism of the design. The entire table is made using solid-wood, and the finish is hand-finished with your choice of paint or stain, or combination of both.
This hall table has four legs with a tapered design, the width at the top of the leg is 3" and has a gradual taper down to the leg base. The four drawers are mounted on metal glides that allow full extension and stability. The drawer faces are a flat face for a cleaner presentation and inset into the table body enhancing the clean lines. The table skirt has a nice beading detail that provides that extra accent of design detail.
The Bass Harbor Hall Table is a traditional table design that is useful for storage and providing display space for lighting and items like photos. Place it in an entryway to be a catch-all for car keys, gloves and hats, and all those on-the-run items. Place this in a hallway for a spot to provide lighting and decor space. All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
We offer (3) styles of tops on all of our furniture: Stained Pine, Hand Planed, and Birch. Below are approximate examples of each wood style, along with an explanation of the characteristics of each. All tops are finished with two coats of varnish and a wax top sealer. The cleaning of the surface is an easy soap and water maintenance, there is no special routine required, this is an easy-care system.
"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.
"Hand Planed" is a solid pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.
"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
