The French Country Trunk Coffee Table is a 42" square coffee table made with rough cut wood for a rustic, aged look. Make this large piece the focal point of your living room design and decor. The top has an ogee edge with four hinges that allow access to the deep storage bay, with each side of the coffee table having a hinged opening. The table sits flat to the floor with a flat base molding. The doors have metal latches to clasp the hinged doors closed.
This rustic Trunk Coffee Table has a very unique appearance. The rustic wood design is relaxed but can be a handsome focal point of your game area, family gathering space, or relaxed media room. The top surface has plenty of display space and provides a perfect spot for serving drinks and snacks, or a place for books, magazines, and coffee table books.
The Trunk Coffee Table has a style that is unique, it can complement all decor styles, such as French Country but English Cottage, Farmhouse, Rustic, Transitional and Traditional style decors as well. Finishes include a variety of dark paints and stains. The rough quality of the wood material requires either an all stain finish, or dark paints. The color is your choice!

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
