The Tapered Leg Table puts a modern twist on tradition with its squared top edges and slightly tapered legs. It's the perfect modern farmhouse table for meals and conversation.
The clean design melds a solid wood planked table top with a slightly tapered leg. The result is a crisp, modern design that will be the showpiece of any dining space.
Our farm tables are intended for daily use; they are solid wood, water-sealed, and easy soap and water clean-up. The standard farm table width is 40 inches which offers plenty of serving area, but can be customized to a narrow width of 34 inches up to wide width of 48 inches.
The Tapered Leg Farm Table can be built with 4" tapered legs for a modern farmhouse style, or with a 5" tapered legs for a rustic lodge style. The square lines of this dining table make it a great choice for a Shaker-style, Arts & Crafts, or contemporary home.
The Tapered Leg Table has a 1 1/4" thick top with a variety of styles; "Stained Pine" new pine wood, "Vintage Wood" reclaimed barnwood tops, "Hand-Planed" new pine planed and distressed, and "Birch" solid hardwood. The table base can be painted and/or stained in a color of your choice.
This table is available in standard length sizes of 5ft., 6ft., 7ft., 8ft. Custom lengths and widths are available, please inquire.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
We offer (3) styles of tops on all of our furniture: Stained Pine, Hand Planed, and Birch. Below are approximate examples of each wood style, along with an explanation of the characteristics of each. All tops are finished with two coats of varnish and a wax top sealer. The cleaning of the surface is an easy soap and water maintenance, there is no special routine required, this is an easy-care system.
"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.
"Hand Planed" is a solid pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.
"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
