This country hutch is a balanced combination of a open bookcase with a closed lower cabinet. The 12.5" depth makes it an adaptable hutch for any hallway, entrance, small living room and bathroom. It has useful storage—for books, dishes, towels and collectibles—but does not overwhelm the space.
It's a perfect kitchen cupboard for storing cookbooks and dishes on upper shelves, and canned goods and pantry items in the lower cabinet. The petitie size of the piece makes it an ideal kid's bookcase too; store your picture books, novels, toys and collections.
The Country Hutch Bookcase is made of quality, solid wood including pine tongue and groove backing. The cupboard has (2) adjustable upper open shelves, and (1) fixed shelf behind the cupboard doors.
The petite hutch features crown molding, beveled molded doors, scalloped base molding all adding french style the bookcase. The hutch bookcase can be finished all over one color or two-tone paint and stain combination.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
