Louis XV was the arbiter of the "Golden Age" of French style. His elegant style spawned the "Age of Enlightment," and the immergence of Louis XV style furniture (also known as Rococo). Our Louis XV Armoire is a timeless adaptation of his classic French style.
The French Louis XV Armoire features curved raised panelled doors, grand crown molding, and scalloped base molding all harkening the tenets of Rococo style.
The 76" tall French-style armoire has a highly-functional interior with (3) wooden shelves at fixed 12" heights for stacking folded items. The shelves are removable to accommodate larger items. The top of the armoire features a wooden rod to hang clothing. The lower shelves can be removed or adjusted to hang shirts, pants or dresses. The raised paneled doors are fastened with rat tail hinges to add to the grandeur. The armoire has classic wooden knobs like those found on classic French antiques.
The elegant French-style armoire can be painted in a classic two-tone finish with a stained interior and top with painted exterior, or all-over one color finish.
The Louis XV Armoire complements French Country, English Cottage, Farmhouse, Rustic, Transitional and Traditional style decors.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
