The Alps in France offers some of the most lovely vistas, and mountainside homes. The charming, French-style Alps End Table with Drawer and Door would fit perfectly in any chalet or country home.
The closed storage end table offers one deep drawer and a lower cabinet with one shelf inside. Ideal as sofa end table, the piece can store magazines, books or baskets in the lower cabinet, and a remote and other essentials in the upper drawer. The table is 25" high which is the right height for a nightstand beside a bed or in a reading nook next to a chair. The 18" width and depth would fit into a small space.
The solid wood end table has one drawer with beveled moldings and flat panel front. The sides are flat for simplicity of the design, the base features a round molding and a contoured foot for classic French country style. The end table drawer has classic wooden knobs.
The top of the end table is water-sealed to prevent water rings, and for everyday use. The end table can be painted in a classic two-tone finish with a stained top and painted base, or all-over one color finish.
The Alps End Table complements French Country, English Cottage, Farmhouse, Rustic, Transitional and Traditional style decors.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
We offer (3) styles of tops on all of our furniture: Stained Pine, Hand Planed, and Birch. Below are approximate examples of each wood style, along with an explanation of the characteristics of each. All tops are finished with two coats of varnish and a wax top sealer. The cleaning of the surface is an easy soap and water maintenance, there is no special routine required, this is an easy-care system.
"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.
"Hand Planed" is a solid pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.
"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
