This Chateau style bookcase also works well in rooms with standard height ceilings. The tall 71" high bookcase has shelves set at graduated heights from large (lower) to smaller (upper) to accommodate small novels to large art books.
The bookshelf is made of solid wood, including the 5/8" tongue and groove backing. The bookcase has generous crown molding, and side moldings. The base molding has a scalloped design for a country French style. The bookcase can be painted and/or stained in a finish of your choice.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
