The solid wood console table's legs are an elegant 3" wide, and taper from the top to base. It's a perfect 30" height for a sofa table, the piece has 3 drawers providing extra storage space for books, remotes, and important items. The drawers have bevel molding on the drawer fronts and wooden knobs. The occasional table has a narrow 12" depth, making it useful in a hallway space or foyer as well as a living area.
The top is made of solid wood, and water-sealed to prevent water rings. The tapered leg console table is intended for daily use. The solid wood, sturdy construction will stand-up to the rigors of everyday life.
Each Alsace Square Leg Console Table is hand finished in any of our milk paint colors or stains for a classic country French effect. All of our finishes are hand applied giving each table a handcrafted quality. Our finishers then lightly rub the paint, if desired, for a slightly worn appearance.
The tapered leg console table has simple embellishments making it a versatile occasional table to add to a variety of room styles including French country, farmhouse, English cottage, rustic, traditional, or transitional.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and low VOC stains that are healthy for you and the environment.
All finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character. Our "Aged Finish" stains are achieved with multiple coats of stain followed by the application of a glaze. Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.

"Hand Planed" is a solid Pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.

"Vintage Pine" is made from reclaimed wood from old hunting cabins, buildings, and cottages. No two tops are alike, some are more rustic than others, they can be very distressed by their weather worn age. You should expect that some have divots and worming.

"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
