For Francophiles, a home library is made complete with the elegant addition of French Provincial Bookcase. The solid wood, domed top bookcase features grand corbels and ornate decorative moldings showcasing an affinity for classic French style.
Perfect for storing small and large books, the three shelves adjust to store items of various sizes. The lower cabinet has two bifold doors which fold back out of the way when in use. The traditional French forged iron pulls highlight the raised panel lower doors. Inside the base cabinet is one shelf for storage of games, books and papers.
The 7ft. French bookcase is built in two pieces, a base cabinet and a top hutch, for ease of moving. The decorative bookcase has grand corbels, fluted face moldings, an ornate dental molded crown, and raised panel details on the sides of the piece. The bookcase offers a balanced open hutch upper storage and closed lower storage cabinet.
The French Provincial Bookcase can be finished in a traditional French country two-tone finish; painted exterior and stained interior. Or, the wall unit can be stained or painted all-over one color.
The open hutch bookcase works with French Country, English Country, Farmhouse, Cottage, Rustic, Transitional, Modern, and Traditional homes styles.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
