The Fluted Leg Coffee Table has fluted, tapered legs with one center drawer. The hardwood legs are turned from a 3" block wood. The drawer has an elegant bevel molding detail with a classic wooden knob. The drawer runs effortlessly on wood runners for years of daily use. The top is stained to highlight the natural beauty of the wood grain. The cocktail table base has mortise and tenon joinery to meet the rigors of years of daily use.
The 4ft. width is an ideal length in front of a large sofa. The 34" depth is generous enough to organize magazines, and decorative items on the top. The 18" height is perfect for those cozy evenings of watching TV with feet up. The drawer hides clutter and provide lots of storage room for remotes, tablets, cards and games.
The cocktail table can be painted in a classic two-tone finish (stained top, painted base), or all-over one color finish. The top is water sealed and waxed to prevent water rings. Easy soap and water clean-up.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
We offer (3) styles of tops on all of our furniture: Stained Pine, Hand Planed, and Birch. Below are approximate examples of each wood style, along with an explanation of the characteristics of each. All tops are finished with two coats of varnish and a wax top sealer. The cleaning of the surface is an easy soap and water maintenance, there is no special routine required, this is an easy-care system.
"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.
"Hand Planed" is a solid pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.
"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
