Made entirely of solid wood, the Crafter's Desk has a durable tabletop to work on all your creations. The four storage drawers are in varying sizes to store sewing accessories, thread, scrapbook paper, and all your supplies. The lower storage drawer has room for hanging files, patterns, and other hobby materials.
The Crafter's Desk is a perfect student desk too. It's petite size and country French design works well in a children's room. This quality student desk will be used for all those homework years—and beyond.
The French-inspired design of this small desk is highlighted by ball turnings on the legs made of solid hardwood. An elegant raised panel is on the side of the desk. The solid wood drawers are showcased by bevel moldings and wood pulls. The base has a sweet scalloped molding to complete the French country style.
The tabletop and base of the desk can be painted and/or stained in a finish of your choice. You can select your top style which includes; "Stained Pine," "Birch," "Vintage Pine" reclaimed barnwood, or "Hand-Planed" new wood made to have a distressed appearance.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and low VOC stains that are healthy for you and the environment.
All finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character. Our "Aged Finish" stains are achieved with multiple coats of stain followed by the application of a glaze. Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.

"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.

"Hand Planed" is a solid Pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.

"Vintage Pine" is made from reclaimed wood from old hunting cabins, buildings, and cottages. No two tops are alike, some are more rustic than others, they can be very distressed by their weather worn age. You should expect that some have divots and worming.

"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
