Nothing says "cottage" like beadboard. Beadboard has been used in summerhomes and cottages since the 1800s where it was predominantly used on the shore. Today, the Beadboard Bed brings coastal-style even to landlocked homes.
The Beadboard Bed comes complete with a headboard, footboard, side rails and slats. The solid wood beadboard bed has tongue and groove panels and a scrolled top which add to the cottage-style of the bed.
The slatted, scalloped headboard and footboard features square posts with caps and large ball finials to complete the whimsical design. The beadboard bed is a graceful addition to any beach style, cottage style or kid's bedroom. The tongue and groove bed is built of solid wood to stand up to years of daily use.
The Beadboard Bed is available in Twin, Full, Queen, King sizes. The bed can be painted in any of our traditional milk paint finishes for a classic coastal style. The slatted headboard and footboard can also be stained to highlight the wood grain for a more contemporary style.
The Beadboard Bed complements French Country, English Cottage, Farmhouse, Rustic, Transitional and Traditional style decors.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and stains with low VOC that is healthy for you and the environment. Our finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character (we can also finish without paint distressing!). Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.
