The 4 Door Open Shelf Stepback Cupboard with sideboard base and open hutch top with shelves. The cupboard has a sideboard base with four doors and drawers, wood knobs, and flat base molding. The upper hutch area has mitered face moldings with two shelves at fixed heights.

The 4-Door Open Stepback Cupboard will bring rustic, French country style into a dining space. The solid wood open china hutch is built in two pieces with a buffet base and hutch top. The upper hutch fits into a groove in the buffet top to join the two pieces.
The upper hutch cabinet has three open shelve areas that graduate in size to hold large and standard size dishes and platters. The buffet top is water-sealed and intended for daily food use. The top of the china cabinet features frame molding and a generous crown molding to add to its grandeur.
The buffet base feature lots of useful closed storage. The cabinet has four, deep wood drawers that are on wooden runners for ease of use. The lower cabinet has four bevel panel doors. The interior features one centered shelf which runs the width of the piece. The lower buffet offers ample interior storage for large plates, platters and tablewares.
The French country china cabinet is made of solid wood, including the 5/8" tongue and groove backing. The hutch top is water-sealed for serving and daily use. Select your paint and/or stain options

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and low VOC stains that are healthy for you and the environment.
All finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character. Our "Aged Finish" stains are achieved with multiple coats of stain followed by the application of a glaze. Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.

"Hand Planed" is a solid Pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.

"Vintage Pine" is made from reclaimed wood from old hunting cabins, buildings, and cottages. No two tops are alike, some are more rustic than others, they can be very distressed by their weather worn age. You should expect that some have divots and worming.

"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.
